Beginners Hand Building 6 week Course
This 6-week Beginners Clay Hand-Building course offers a thorough introduction to working with clay and the studio environment. You will learn core techniques including pinching and coiling, slab building, press moulds, and an introduction to slip casting, while creating at least six ceramic pieces from start to finish over the duration of the course. The extended format allows you to develop and refine your work week by week, gaining a strong foundation in hand-building skills. On completion, you can join open access evenings without an additional induction, and the course also includes an optional free place on the Techniques in Decoration with Coloured Slips and Underglazes glazing workshop on 6 July.
All materials and firings are included in the price.
