During the Summer Holidays we are running creative courses for children.
The Sessions will take place in our professional Artist Studio and Bakery Unit. (During Public Closing Times)
LOTS OF FUN AND HANDS ON
CLAY KIDS CLUB: Ages 7 - 15yrs
Tuesdays 25th July, 01, 15, 22 August 2023
10am - 12pm
Upstairs in the Artist Studio.
Activities include Hand-building with Slabs, Coils and PinchPots, Functional (Cups, Bowls and Plates) and Imaginary Objects for Storytelling and Games.
(We may also try some slip casting and gathering Wild Clay from Hayling Beach) Decorating with Decorating Slip and Underglaze, Textures and Patterns included
(Fired in a Local Kiln)
BAKING BREAD AND WHOLESOME TREATS (Biscuits and Buns)
Mondays 24th, 31st July, 07, 14, 21 August 2023
10am - 12pm
In the Bakery
Activities will take place In the Loco Loaf Bakery and baked in the professional Ovens for taking home. Children will be introduced to different Flours and other Baking ingredients found in the Bakery. We will make different Breads, Bread Rolls, Biscuits and Buns. We will also make our own bags for packaging and create our own mini-Bakery. Where possible ingredients will be organic.
These sessions are run Flora Duley. Full DBS, PPL Insurance and Safeguard Lead.
Payment Options include Weekly £20 or you can pay for the full Course.
Different Payment options available for Two or more Siblings and for booking both courses.
PRICES:
All Sessions are £20 each per child. (One off session booking available)
Art: Tuesdays - Whole Course £80 per child (x4 sessions)
Baking: Mondays - Whole Course £100 per child (x5 sessions)
REDUCED TWO CHILDREN (SIBLING) PRICES
Two Children or more (Siblings) £15 each per session
Family Art Ticket: Whole Course: £60 per child
Family Baking Ticket: £75 per child
Family Art and Baking Whole Course: £130 per child.
