Enjoy a healthy, creative weekend spent outdoors discovering the unique landscape of Hayling Island through wild clay foraging. Learn about the island’s local history and ecology, from Roman influence to traditional brick making, and uncover what Red Brick Earth is and how it forms. You’ll forage for wild clay, be introduced to its preparation and production for use, and create tiles, bricks, or simple tableware, all fired in the studio kiln. Finished pieces will be ready for collection or delivery within four weeks.
